Most months you can watch reviews and read our thoughts on the games we've been playing, old and new. This month we haven’t got any big reviews but we thought we’d keep you up to date with what we’ve been playing.
Diablo 3 (Switch Edition)
Diablo 3 is the perfect Switch game. Great for when you’ve got a spare twenty minutes (as long as the loading times have been accommodated for) to yourself or even a wee afternoon sat in your filth. My preferred class is Monk and it’s because the Monk is pretty much unstoppable and they can summon a great big fucking bell at short notice. Does drain the battery a bit though, so you’d better make sure to pay your utilities on time.

Tetris Effect
I’m not very good at Tetris but I do respect it as a testament to pure video game design. Tetris Effect matches that design with Rez’s mind-warping visuals to amazing effect. Sadly, I’m not very good at it, but my wife enjoys showing me how it’s done.

Subsurface Circular (Switch Edition)
It’s that game that’s always like £2.69 and, honestly, it’s worth a whole lot more. It’s a detective game set on the robot subway and lasts about as long as Peter Jackson’s King Kong. It’s funny, clever and cheaper than Pret’s Christmas sandwich (£3.75 for a sandwich?!)

Katamari Forever
Katamari Reroll is almost here, but I couldn’t help myself and dived back into one of my favourites in the series. Forever was unfairly treated on release, but it’s the most generous hug of a Katamari game yet. My most played level, still after all these years, is the zoo one with all the animals.

Red Dead Redemption 2
Aye, I’m playing it, just like everyone else. Barely scratched the surface with it to be honest. Looks lovely, great attention to detail, but the story is pretty slow.

Overwatch
After a year away, I’m back on Overwatch and Moira is my new main. What a good, generous game and it’s pretty much cheap everywhere now.
